with weight loss as well. People somehow expect

weight loss to be very simple and easy, when it is

Eating under stress is one of the biggest mistakes you

People could be eating a very healthy and nutritious meal, but if the

food is eaten under stress, the nutrients will not be digested properly

the food will have a positive effect on you and weight loss as well.  

If a person is under stress, the nutrient absorption will drop because there is less oxygen in

the gut, less enzymatic production and less blood!

Your body will try to eliminate selenium, chromium, zinc, magnesium, calcium and other minerals

through urine. This means you will be deficient in water-soluble minerals.  

Another problem with stress is that blood cholesterol goes up, as does the triglyceride levels,

when being under stress. Blood platelets get sticky, which is one of the causes of heart disease.

When you are under stress, the body produces more cortisol as well. Cortisol, as you know, signals

your body to stop building muscle and to store fat.

To be able to absorb all the essential nutrients from the food you eat, you need to have a good gut

flora – healthy bacteria inside the digestive tract. The less nutrients you get from food, the more your

body forces you to eat,  to compensate for the lack of nutrients.

Not to mention that growth hormone – important for building and maintaining muscle mass

– decreases as well!

Other negative side effects of eating under stress are:

•        Decrease in Thyroid hormone, which results in decreased  

          metabolism!

•        Higher risk of osteoporosis.

•        Increase of inflammation in the body.

Not to mention that people tend to eat more food under stress, because it helps them relax and to feel

better. You really need to pay attention to the state of your mind prior to eating food.

If you are under stress you can avoid the negative effects by breathing properly.

When people are relaxed, they breath rhythmical and deep. The breathing pattern of stress is infrequent,

arrhythmic and shallow.

By breathing in a rhythmical and deep fashion, your body will think you are relaxed and

not under stress. The effect of this is very quick and you can do it before every meal.

The important thing is to take 1-2 minutes to really relax and breath deep and rhythmically.

You can feel the effect and notice the difference very quickly.

This is one of the things people really need to learn, if they want to know how to lose weight fast.

If you don’t learn these things, you will always struggle to lose weight and get the nutrients you need!
